Rumors have begun to circulate about a possible fourth season of Sonic X being in development from TMS Entertainment in Japan, who produced the first three seasons. According to one source,[2] TMS Entertainment is listing Sonic X among the anime it is producing (although it should be noted that Season 3 has yet to appear on Japanese television, and so that could be another way of saying that TMS intends to air Season 3 on Japanese television at some point in the future). [3]. The open-ended conclusion of the 3rd Season, Episode 78, has also fueled much speculation. There were many unresolved cliffhangers, such as what happened to Chris after he left Sonic's world, what the pot shown at the end of the episode is supposed to represent (this is rumored to be the seed of Cosmo that Sonic found), and what happened to Shadow. TMS has yet to confirm if Sonic X will continue, although it is worth noting that 4Kids Entertainment, the dubbing and distribution company in charge of the English dub of Sonic X, has claimed that the show has indeed ended its run. Even though the Internet Movie Database still lists Sonic X as active in production, there is still a good reason to believe that it's been cancelled.

Well...congrats folks for actually believing the Wikipedia site. Wikipedia is crap.
It told us back in May that a so-called 'Sonic x episode 79' was to air in Poland, and then revealed two days later it was a mistake. Lesson one in life guys - NEVER trust what Wikipedia says.
And what's this about a season 7??? Even though I am a fan myself I hardly believe there will ever be a season 7, I mean let's face it - Japan hasn't even shown season 3 yet, so I don't know where the hell you got 'season 7' from!
I suppose, if they were to create a new season then I would like the following to appear -
1. More action
2. More tension (like in movie trailers)
3. Better voice-acting
4. Amy to be less annoying (seriously, she needs to see that being clingy won't get Sonic to like her)
5. Different setting (e.g. the past, the future)
6. More humour (come on guys - throw some funny, crude jokes into the show!)
7. Shadow to die
Ah well, I shall await this 'new' season with awaited breath.

One other thing they should change with Sonic X if it does make a comeback is that extreme gear should make an appearence. It should definatley be in the future, and it should be like a next generation sort of thing. Also, shadow should have a son, who is now ruler of the universe. Sonic Jr., Tails Jr., and Knuckles Jr. (not really those names) should come together to help king shadow quell the egg robot uprising, led by eggman who is 203 years old. That is all I have to say. This is just for discussion. Sonic X rulez!
hey! im a sonic fan,and i heard rumors about a season 4 of sonic x,i hope so^_^,and i hope Amy and sonic hook up(oh by the way,amy is not annoying,shes only in love)well anyways im hoping season 4 comes out!

the only strangest thing I saw in the episodes was the so called 'dark sonic'. someone got any explanations about that?

The only reason why he turned into his dark form is because of those fake chaos emeralds. They have the same affect as real chaos emeralds when he thinks good things. But when he saw Chris and Cosmo, those fake chaos emeralds did the complete opposite and caused him to think "disturbing" thoughts, therefore bringing him to his darker form. It's simple really, just think of it as the total opposite when he is in his super form.
